What is a Review?
An investment portfolio review looks at a grouping of securities, whereas a review at the instrument level is called an "investment review."
In either case, a review is the practice of giving a full prospectus-level opinion and assessment for underlying structure, total return, effective duration, convexity, market value shocks, cash flows, and credit analysis. Furthermore, it examines how the portfolio interacts within the overall mix of the bank's balance sheet in regards to the total risk position of the bank.
