- AMP works with you to develop an investment strategy that is appropriate for your bank — carefully considering your bank's risk profile and comfort level regarding risk.
- Our quarterly Benchmark and Peer Group Analysis evaluates your bank's overall risk-versus-reward profile. Because the investment portfolio is not an island, it's important for our team to have fundamental knowledge of your institution's risks and how your investment portfolio interacts with the institution's other "moving parts." These variables include interest rate risk, credit risk, capital risk, and liquidity risk. We also provide national peer group comparisons that contain the mix and the performance of your investment portfolio.
- Review of your bank's asset/liability model from an investment portfolio perspective.
- Review of your investment policy.
- Our team will model your bank's investment portfolio on the BondEdge system and provide you with our proprietary reports that view the investment portfolio from a number of perspectives. These include cash flows, credit ratings, total return, market value performance, convexity, and duration. This analysis is performed on each security and aggregates the entire portfolio.
- Your portfolio manager will develop an ongoing relationship with regular contact — daily if necessary. And we look forward to meeting with you quarterly to review and update investment strategy.
- Specific recommendations will be made in order to implement your investment strategy.
- Execution of security transactions. AMP maintains relationships with many brokerage firms to provide the bank with competitive execution.
- Equity advice and review, if appropriate, for your portfolio.
- Common stock portfolios can be included if they are appropriate for your bank.
- AMP can provide an on-site or online presentation to the board and management team.
